Yet, as our beloved mascot’s hometown, it reminds us all that the innovations for our clients find their way to every big city, small town, and tiny village on the planet. This particular armadillo embodies all the best qualities of his April Six colleagues. And while he may not be big, he’s quick and agile and always ready for a challenge. UK Managing Director
An expert in marketing led business change, Emily brings over 20 years multi-disciplined experience, across a wide range of sectors and geographies to her role as Managing Director of the agency’s UK office. Customer obsessed, with a passion for navigating the fast paced, ever changing environments, Emily’s goal is to help her clients win, not just for today but for the future.
President, North America
With proven leadership experience developing global marketing strategies and integrated campaigns for brands across multiple industries, Jill was recruited to open and lead the San Francisco office of April Six in late 2013. In her role as President, she actively supports client relationships and cross-functional agency teams, while helping to define integrated marketing strategies, develop creative ideas, and drive client demand.
Brad Helmy Harris
Singapore Managing Director
Brad Harris has worked in the media and digital space for 17 years, specializing in performance marketing, strategy, demand generation, social media, and SEO. Having worked in major cities across APAC, he has built a solid understanding of the Asian market and has developed successful strategies and several award-winning creative campaigns. Brad has led the Singapore office since its inception in 2015, helping April Six clients throughout the region navigate the ever-evolving digital space.
UK Client Director
Lisa meets UK client expectations with successful agency results across the EMEA region. She brings more than 16 years to her role at April Six, having previously led the development of brand, demand-gen, and sales-enablement programs for a range of established global brands and emerging startups. Her dynamic background is a critical aspect of her success in leading her client services team to remain proactive and solution-oriented.
UK Group Account Director
B2B technology marketing has been the emphasis of Naomi’s career for nearly 15 years (including the past 12 with April Six). Her extensive client, project management and industry expertise extend from her prior experience working with some of the largest and most successful technology organizations in the world. Most recently, Naomi has become an invaluable addition to our client services department in the UK, managing one of the teams responsible for multiple EMEA client relationships. She directs client engagement, development of program and go-to-market strategies, messaging, and creative while ensuring all meet budget and timelines.
With a dedicated focus on building strong and trusted client relationships, Janet oversees the April Six account management teams, as well as all client activities and relationships. She has spent the majority of her career in the technology sector, managing global advertising, demand generation, and retention for major brands, including IBM and Adobe. Janet is also experienced in managing campaigns that target consumer, SMB, and enterprise.
Head of Strategy
Alex has risen through the ranks at April Six, joining the agency in 2006 as an Account Executive, and evolving into the indispensible strategist he is today. During his decade at April Six, he and his team have developed strategies for some of the world’s largest, most established technology giants, as well as playing pivotal roles within a host of startups. Alex previously served as the agency’s Head of Strategy and planning for the EMEA clients. He also directed the VMware Global account for four years and was instrumental in helping to establish the agency’s presence in San Francisco and Singapore.
US Strategy Director
A dedicated technology marketer who brings nearly a decade of experience to his strategy role at April Six, Trent has guided the development and execution of integrated campaigns for leading B2B brands, including HP, Dell, SanDisk, Level 3, Intel, Qualcomm, VMware, and Sage. With proven success in both brand awareness and demand generation disciplines, Trent focuses on the practical use of integrated marketing strategies and advertising technologies to achieve measurable, meaningful results.
US Creative Director
Specializing in bringing B2C sensibilities to B2B technology and digital marketing challenges, Erik serves April Six clients with expertise in brand strategy and global demand generation, as well as digital and traditional advertising. He is a proven creative and strategic innovator with 15 years of hands-on experience within the technology, medical device, and genomics sectors. His client experience includes successful campaigns and programs for a range of high-profile clients, including Cisco, Google, HP, McAfee, Microsoft, Sun Microsystems, Varian Medical Systems, Sage, TiVo and Turn.
US Creative Director
Tom’s two decades of B2B advertising and marketing expertise is an advantage he has embedded into his role as Creative Director and lead copywriter at April Six. His award-winning background includes the development of digital and traditional marketing and advertising, as well as strategic planning, brand/product positioning and messaging, and content development. A native of Silicon Valley, Tom has created highly successful campaigns for emerging businesses, as well as market-leading technology and consumer brands including AT&T, Dell, HP, Intel, Johnson & Johnson, LinkedIn, Mazda, Microsoft, Qlik, Sage and Turn.
UK Creative Director
Alistair brings 19 years of creative experience within the Lowe, Publicis, VCCP and FCB global networks, including a decade as CD and ECD. He joined April Six in 2017. A genuine creative hybrid, Alistair has delivered effective and imaginative campaigns for over seventy famous brands from Army to Zurich. His commitment to brand authenticity saw him strap on body armor to deliver six award-winning British Army campaigns, from the front line in Afghanistan, to a live attempt on the notorious west ridge of Everest. In stark contrast, he also used charm and social media to persuade Harry Styles to cut his hair for the Little Princess Trust cancer charity.
Singapore Creative Director
Chris has worked in senior roles at many of the big advertising firms ranging from Ogilvy to Saatchi, Dentsu and Doremus. He has managed multiple teams and produced award-winning breakthrough campaigns for clients in blue-chip B2B and B2C technology, banking and finance, as well as luxury transportation. He brings his passion for marketing brilliance, willingness to teach and drive for excellence to every company he joins.
UK Managing Director
Jim has been indispensable in facilitating growth and development of AprilSix Proof over the last 10 years. Prior to joining in 2007, he managed both media and marketing campaigns for global brands, including Philips and Nestle Waters. In 2010 Jim became the UK Managing Director at AprilSix Proof, and began leading operations in both the UK and EMEA. His motivated efforts have enabled technology and STEM organizations to successfully demonstrate the value of their work and drive the sales of their products or services. Jim’s expertise derives from a client centered approach, ensuring that clients understand what they want to communicate, and then effectively delivering these messages to the people they need to be influencing.
Joe is the driving force behind work with the National Physical Laboratory, Babcock and administering the company’s bid support functions. Before joining AprilSix Proof in 2007, he gained a comprehensive knowledge of the public relations industry, by first joining the Press & Public Affairs department of Arts Council England as a graduate, then departing as a Press Officer. Additionally, he worked at Nesta managing the communications for two early stage investment funds and promoting new businesses such as Shadow Robot Hand Co. and ULTra (Urban Light Transit).
Associate Director – Head of Technology
For the past 13 years, Amy has been extensively involved in the communications of organizations at every stage of development and purpose—directing campaigns for startups, multinational corporations and non-profit organizations. She is fascinated by emerging technologies in scientific research and healthcare, and has promoted a wide range of technologies, from 3D printing and M2M communications, to data analytics and cyber security. Her dynamic experience within technology PR has fostered her acute ability to work in high-pressured environments, multitask and deliver coverage across national, regional and vertical titles.
Associate Director – Head of Science, Engineering & Innovation
Ellie is proficiently experienced within science, engineering and technology PR. She is responsible for driving excellence in client management and ensures impeccable service delivery across the business. Ellie leads on a portfolio of clients that comprises many of AprilSix Proof’s flagship accounts. She generates extensive media coverage for the UK’s most promising engineering SMEs and hosts a comprehensive thought leadership program for QinetiQ, further integrating her into a valuable network of industry influencers. Ellie is notably involved with the Royal Academy of Engineering, where she directs national campaigns targeted to impact policy makers, the engineering industry and general public, while also implementing consultancy to the Academy’s Enterprise Hub member companies.
Business Development Director
Andrew is AprilSix Proof’s Business Development Director, managing our new client outreach and onboarding processes. After working as a marketing manager for several years, Andrew moved into business development consultancy where he created client acquisition programmes for some of the UK’s leading agencies. An Art History and English Literature graduate from the University of Newcastle, Andrew joined AprilSix Proof in early 2018.
Associate Director - Public Affairs
Vernon Hunte is Associate Director at AprilSix Proof with responsibility for directing the political engagement and campaigns for clients in Westminster, Whitehall, the Devolved Administrations and European Institutions. His professional background includes more than twelve years working in public affairs, developing an extensive political network. He has worked in central Government, in Parliament – heading offices both in the Commons and the House of Lords – and for the Institution of Civil Engineers. More recently he has worked freelance and in-house for external clients on a broad range of policy areas including Brexit, digital regulation, employment legislation and taxation. He graduated from the London School of Economics in International Politics and History, and holds a post-graduate degree from Kings College London. He is an active member of the public affairs community through participation in the CIPR Public Affairs Committee, which leads on the drive towards professionalism and transparency in the industry. Vernon is committed to delivering innovative and effective public affairs communication which have been recognised as award-winning by both the PRCA and the Association Excellence Awards as a core part of fully integrated PR and marketing campaigns.
