Job Summary:

We’re recruiting for a Senior Designer to join our growing Design team, working alongside the Digital, Motion, and Copy teams, which together form the Creative Department. You’ll be putting great conceptual, visual communication and design skills to work to make brands and projects live beautifully, online and offline.

Responsibilities include:

  • Create work that has an instant, positive impact on the audiences in the B2B technology marketing space, promoting the product or brand being advertised
  • Take ownership of what campaigns look like and how they visually communicate
  • Interpret briefs with a copywriter, generating ideas to present back to the client services team and clients themselves
  • Own work from conceptual development through production to final delivery
  • Find new ways to leverage the digital space for B2B communications
  • Ensure all client services briefs are correctly interpreted, deadlines are met and projects are prioritized
  • Helping source and commission specialists such as illustrators, photographers, animators or film crews to work on unique projects
  • Editi final presentations ready for client meetings
  • Develop strong relationships with all agency departments
  • Have a keen knowledge of client business and the technology sector as a B2B marketer
  • Think proactively on behalf of the agency, considering new design/digital initiatives, trends and tools on forthcoming projects

Essential skills and attributes

  • Excellent digital design skills in relevant art, design and UX software packages: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, XD and/or Sketch
  • Able to think strategically, taking a long-term view, weighing up pros and cons
  • Competent illustration skills
  • Capable of proactive and creative thought
  • Impeccable eye for detail
  • Fast and accurate production capabilities
  • Joining up visuals and copy into one compelling whole
  • A thorough understanding of photography, typography and printing
  • An interest in the arts, social, cultural and media trends
  • Keeping up to date with digital trends, both private and commercial
  • Ability to see other people’s point of view and cope with criticism
  • Present effectively and confidently
  • Well-organized with the ability to shift quickly from one project to the next
  • Able to self-manage, cope under pressure and work to tight deadlines
  • Able to manage others and get the best from people through encouragement and involvement
  • Prioritizing workloads and others ensuring all projects are delivered on time
  • Prepared to “muck in” and get involved if other team members need assistance
  • Able to work well with copywriter and client services to complete task on time and to budget
