Senior Frontend Developer

Digital | Mobility, Bournemouth

Who are we?

We are April Six Mobility, a Marketing and Communications agency with 35 years of experience, that specialises in working with the most exciting, forward thinking mobility brands and manufacturers. We’re based in a beautiful converted barn on the rural edge of Bournemouth, but still just a 20-minute drive from some of the best beaches in Dorset. Yes, we’re a little spoilt and we know it!

 How do we do it?

Our unique fusion of in-house creative, strategy, data, back and front-end developers means that we are able to use creativity to change human behavior. We do this by originating highly relevant and connected human experiences, in whatever form is needed. Using our three values ‘Be Curious’, ‘Be Fearless’ and ‘Be One’, we inspire people to change the way they think about mobility. Check out Aprilsix.com for more on this.

So, who are we looking for?

We have a range of exciting projects for some of the largest automotive brands in the world, and we’re branching out into other industries as well. We don’t just churn out the same thing week on week, we work on innovative, varied and challenging solutions beyond just your standard websites. You will be working on both client projects and our own digital products.

As a Senior Frontend Developer, you will be focused on ensuring that we deliver best-in-class digital solutions. Your role will include working on the front-end of our products, using React to create many interesting features, such as online template editors, data visualisation tools, presentation creators and more. You will also be working on client projects varying from complex animated landing pages to enterprise CMS websites. You will work with the freedom to influence our technology choices, trying out new ideas with support from the rest of the team. In essence, a rich varied role of projects, product and the latest development tech.
