Account Supervisor / Associate Account Director

April Six - San Francisco

We’re currently recruiting for an Account Supervisor or Associate Account Director (experience dependent) with exceptional client relationship and project management skills to assist us in delivering breakthrough work. You’ll play a pivotal role in developing original strategic, creative concepts and approaches as well as overseeing client projects all the way through execution.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage and lead the agency’s day-to-day relationship with key client contacts
  • Understand Client’s business and anticipate Client’s needs – look for new opportunities to add value to Client’s business
  • Acquire in-depth knowledge of, and be conversant in, each clients’ business – their key issues, competitive situation and industry trends
  • Keep each clients’ respect and confidence as a trusted advisor bringing value to their business through a strong commitment to success, consistent performance and the ability to develop a wide range of ideas and solutions
  • All work must be managed in a way that is on time, within budget and with a minimum of disruption to daily activity of client or agency
  • Management of internal team and effectively assign, delegate, coordinate and monitor the work of agency staff members assigned to client projects
  • Anticipate potential relationship or expectation issues, advising the Group Account Director in time for the agency to act proactively
  • Assist General Manager with the development of quarterly and annual Client reviews
  • Strong ability to provide clear creative direction and provide timely feedback to keep work on budget and schedule. Someone who can help their team understand what needs to get done so they can get down to business
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to move a project forward while still taking the time to foster the talents of the account and creative teams

Experience required:

  • Substantial experience in an account handling, agency side role
  • Deep experience with developing and deploying complex global campaigns
  • Experience with B2B marketing strategies
  • Excellent communication skills, a client-focused mentality, a strong work ethic, an ability to balance a large number of tasks in a fast-paced environment, and tenacious attention to detail
  • A skilled master of account management and thought leadership with latitude in making professional and creative decisions
