To sell 25 50th Anniversary special edition Scania V8 trucks. As simple as that!
The Scania V8 has legendary status within the trucking world as being the all-time great. Nothing can match its power and ability to deliver over the last 50 years. We wanted to celebrate this awe and wonder by letting people know that they had a chance to own a piece of history.
The campaign was focused to deliver a big splash in the trade titles in print and digital to raise the trucks profile as well as communicating with Scania’s existing customers via DM. The response was overwhelming and staggeringly all of the trucks sold within 72 hours.
